Corrie's Services
I, Corrie, am able to tutor many subjects including Math and Science.
I am very good at growing plants and learning different ways of doing this. I can identify plants easily and have some medicinal knowledge of a few basic plants like elderberry and jewelweed. I make elderberry juice for myself and friends in the end of summer and it really helps with shortening my illness when I get something like the flu or covid in the winter. I don't know about other people, but it works great for me!
I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and I love science. I have my teaching certifications in multiple states and I tutor on K12 Tutoring. If you would like to try a tutoring session with me, use the code FIRSTSESSIONFREE (one free hour of tutoring) OR TU30MINFREE (a half hour of tutoring) on their website.

Right now I am a featured tutor on their website for the rest of September (two weeks) and I am pretty pumped and excited about that.
In real life, not only do I do melt and pour soap, I have also made multiple types of soaps including hot process, cold process, and liquid soap. I am available to teach each of these courses in person, except for liquid soap, which I feel I need more practice with before I am comfortable teaching it.
One of my favorite products to make is Jewelweed Soap. I am good at identifying and using plants, one of them is jewelweed. Traditionally, jewelweed is used to reduce itching of bug bites, stings from plants or insects and other trail nuisances. I found a few recipes on Google from other soapers' recipes and now I make Jewelweed Soap myself for fun, although if you wish to purchase some, let me know! I use the Jewelweed Soap after working in the garden to help with skin irriation afterwards. It works nicely and feels good on the skin.
